Work to Date - kitchenette and dining area looking good

When we first brought the camper home, my husband immediately jumped in and started the tearing apart. He pulled all the extra hooks, ledges, etc out, along with cushions, mattress, curtains. And then he torn out the back wall, which was water damage; he knew from the slight tear in the back wall and the softness of the wall. But since then he has been focused on a project we have here at the house instead, so I jumped into the cosmetic fixes on the other side of the camper that I'm going to do. Kitchenette first! The microwave had exploded on the previous owners and they had replaced it with one that didnt fit so they covered the opening with a piece of wood and a metal bar to hold it in place until they needed to use the microwave. I immediately ordered a new microwave and trim kit. Then I pulled the cabinets out and started the painting. They were laminate so, process... degreaser to clean, deglosser to start roughing it up, then sand them to finish roughing them. Painting starts with "Gripper" primer/sealer, 2 coats, then 2 coats of regular white paint. It was a pain in the butt in such a small camper with tight quarters! But it looks great. And spray painted the hardware. Next was the countertop and stove area. Self adhesive contact paper was the answer there. And the backsplash was done with smart tiles and smart trim- again self adhesive. Moved onto the dinette next. Same process with the wood/laminate and found a place online to get new cushions and covers at a decent price. Some people do their own with a stapler and backboard, but We wanted full vinyl covers amd I can't sew, so buying was our option. And then I had to start on the walls. I used the same process for painting the walls that I had on the cabinets because they are covered with a textured wallpaper kind of covering from the factory that you can't really remove and has that same slickness as laminate. So I had to clean it and rough it up. And I added the first area of wallpaper. So here are some pictures of where I am now.
