Work to Date - kitchenette and dining area looking good

When we first brought the camper home, my husband immediately jumped in and started the tearing apart. He pulled all the extra hooks, ledges, etc out, along with cushions, mattress, curtains. And then he torn out the back wall, which was water damage; he knew from the slight tear in the back wall and the softness of the wall. But since then he has been focused on a project we have here at the house instead, so I jumped into the cosmetic fixes on the other side of the camper that I'm going to do. Kitchenette first! The microwave had exploded on the previous owners and they had replaced it with one that didnt fit so they covered the opening with a piece of wood and a metal bar to hold it in place until they needed to use the microwave. I immediately ordered a new microwave and trim kit. Then I pulled the cabinets out and started the painting. They were laminate so, process... degreaser to clean, deglosser to start roughing it up, then sand them to finish roughing them. Painting star

Just bought our new to us camper!

A week ago we got what we think was a great deal on a 2013 Riverside Retro 155 camper. We had been looking long and hard for a camper that would fit into our garage or at least our carport (to avoid paying storage fees or parking it in our yard) but that wasn't just a clamshell. We wanted something that had a bed, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a sitting area. And honestly, there is NOTHING out there new that fits those parameters that we could find. The closest thing we found was the NuCamp Tab 320 and it was still just barely short enough to fit in our carport and the bed and dinette were the kind that change into each other. Really, this trailer was the only one that had everything we needed and Riverside had actually quit making this model a couple years back. But we lucked into this one online and drove the 4 hours to go get it. It has some issues and there is water damage but nothing we can't fix to get exactly what we wanted in a tiny camper! It may not be ideal for someone
